Expensive clothing is not the only way to style for a plus size woman, there are many things you can do to turn a low budget outfit into a classy look. Start with pure and simple lines when buying a dress on a low budget and leave the sequence and glitz.
Match the dress with a glitzy handbag, add some light jewelry and terrific shoes. Don’t wear flats if you are short and wearing a long dress, instead a nice pair of stilettos or a pair of sleek wedge heels will five your dress the class and sizzle you need.
Balance is the secret to matching shoes with an outfit. A short skirt with soaring stilettos is a no-no. Wear shorts and short skirts with a pair of flat shoes. Other pieces like pants, dresses and pencil skirts should be worn with heels, they do not always have to be particularly high. Sticking to this simple rule will add class to any low budget outfit you may choose.
Don’t hide behind long jackets to hide wide hips. You can move the focus away from your hips with a striking colorful top and brown, navy, khaki and black pants or skirts. Add a terrific pair of stiletto’s to your outfit for a sizzling look.
A dress with simple lines may not always be in step with your mood and if you feel like something frilly or flirty, you can turn to tunics and A-line skirts. If you are short you can match an A-Line skirt with a shrunken cardigan that will add some height.
Stay stylish on a rainy day by matching your trench coat with and oversized bag, perfect for stowing a compact, foldable umbrella and opt for a bright colorful pair of rubber boots.
And if your clothes keep migrating keep it in place with clear, double-sided tape. The tape comes in strips that you can stick to your skin and your clothes. It costs about $14 for a box of 36 seven-centimeter strips. Great for keeping your plunging neckline in place and your wrap skirt wrapped.
