The Debate Over Boxers Or Briefs

The debate has been going on forever it seems, boxers or briefs, briefs or boxers. There’s really not been a definitive answer as to which is better or greater.

The time for sitting on the fence and waffling over which is the best style of men’s underwear is over. You need to make the choice today. Today. The fate of a free republic rests on your coherent response.

Which is it, briefs of boxers? It’s really not brain surgery or rocket science, is it? You have a 50/50 shot of nailing it, or a 50/50 shot of getting it wrong. But you must make a choice.

Women will have their responses, and men will have theirs. The reasons will be quite different for both.

Men will choose how it feels over how it looks (comfort vs. aesthetics); women will choose aesthetics over comfort because quite frankly, It’s not something they are likely to wear, men’s underwear, that is.

On the other hand, when women buy underwear (or panties or whatever women are calling them these days), they’ve got their own comfort zone to consider when it comes to boxers and briefs, don’t they? Actually, the ladies have three viable choices when it comes to undergarments: bikinis, briefs, or firm-control panties (or whatever the standard is in women’s underclothing). Trust me when I say this but I’m not inclined to linger in the women’s section of department stores for extended periods of time. If I’m looking for something for my spouse (women’s undergarments doesn’t hit my radar screen often), I don’t spend a lot of time lounging around the bras and panties section. I’ve already made my decision before I get there. I know exactly how much time it will take to get what I need. It’s targeted and quick. No putzing around. No dilly-dallying. And I’ve noticed that other women shoppers tend to get nervous around men hanging around in lingerie departments.

But, purchasing women’s underclothing is obviously not what this debate is about. The web-based poll you’re taking part in is a single question. If you’re a man, it’s a single question. If you’re a woman, it’s the exact same single question.

You will be one in six million people who vote on this issue because that’s the number of people who will vote on this issue before it’s closed out and finalized. Fortunately, you will have a say in the matter and it will be heard. Don’t take this responsibility lightly.

People will be checking back at the site regularly; you should too. People will want to get their friends (male and female) in on this debate; you should too. I said earlier that the fate of a free republic rests on this debate. Perhaps I understated it; the fate of the free world rests on it.
