“Should I wear nursing clothes?” is something that new mums sometimes ask. Everyone will have their own views on this question, and in this article I will try and explain why I think the answer to this question should be yes. With so much more choice these days in style and fashion of nursing clothes, one is no longer restricted to the one-size-fits-all shapeless garments of the past. Indeed, a recent mum can look like the height of fashion in her nursing top. Here are some of the reasons why I think new mums should use nursing clothes:
Personal modesty.
There is no need for a new mum to feel uncomfortable about breastfeeding in public. Latest styles in nursing clothes mean that when it is feed time, mum can attend to her child in the ultimate privacy, afforded by specially designed garments, designed to remove any embarrassment or self consciousness. This will ultimately result in a more pleasant experience for both the little one and the mother.

When you are out and about, whether having a meal with friend of relatives, when it comes time to feed the little one, there in no longer any need for embarrassment for either you, your friends, or people around you. The latest nursing clothes make the experience do discrete, that no-one need know when you are attending to the needs of your baby. This will help allay the fears of any new mum.
Helping you stay warm.
There is nothing worse than exposed body parts in the middle of winter when you are breastfeeding, particularly at night. With nursing clothes or breastfeeding clothes, you can keep warm, while feeding your little one.
Weddings etc.
It used to be that when you were going to a special event and you were breastfeeding, the only option for clothing available to you was one size, not very stylish, maternity clothing. There are so many choices and ranges available, that you are sure to find something that will make you feel and look wonderful; you can go out and have fun in comfort!

If you choose to breastfeed your baby, you will save a lot of money on items such as bottles, formula, sterilizers, etc. You can use this saved money to buy yourself some new fashionable nursing clothes. This will make you look and feel wonderful. The latest styles in breastfeeding clothes mean that it is no longer obvious that you are wearing nursing clothes.
